Everything you need to know about tracking, transit times, customs and preparing your cargo.

Still have a question?

We’re happy to help, especially before you ship.

Tracking

How do I track my shipment?

Go to the tracking page and enter your tracking number. You’ll see the current status, a live map with satellite and street views, every scan with its date and time, and the estimated delivery date.

Where do I find my tracking number?

It’s on your receipt, waybill, or the message we sent when your shipment was booked. Blue Orbit Cargo tracking numbers start with BOC followed by digits, for example BOC4829301756.

Why can’t the tracking page find my number?

Check for typing mistakes first: the letters O and I are easy to confuse with 0 and 1. New bookings can take a short while to appear. If it still isn’t found, message us on WhatsApp with the number and we’ll check it for you.

Can I get updates without checking the page?

Yes. On your tracking result, choose Email alerts and enter your email. We’ll send a message every time your shipment is updated. Each email has a link to stop alerts.

What does Street View show?

Street View shows Google’s street-level imagery closest to the latest scan, the destination or the origin. Some places, such as ports, airports and rural areas, have no street imagery, so use the Satellite view there instead.

Can I track several shipments at once?

Yes. On the tracking page choose Several and paste up to 10 tracking numbers, one per line or separated by commas.

Shipping & transit times

Which countries do you ship to and from?

We ship between and within the USA, the United Kingdom, Europe, Africa and Asia. Tell us your exact pickup and delivery locations and we’ll confirm the best route.

How long does shipping take?

It depends on the mode, the route and customs. As a general guide, air freight is measured in days and ocean freight in weeks. Your quote includes an estimated transit time for your route, and your tracking page keeps the delivery estimate up to date.

Should I choose air, ocean or road?

Air is fastest and suits urgent or high-value goods. Ocean is the most economical for heavy or bulky cargo. Road is ideal within a continent and for the first and last mile. If you’re not sure, choose “Not sure” on the quote form and we’ll recommend the right option.

What is the difference between FCL and LCL?

FCL (full container load) means your cargo has a whole container to itself. LCL (less than container load) means your cargo shares a container with other shipments, and you pay only for the space you use.

Can you collect from my supplier?

Yes. Give us your supplier’s address and contact details and we’ll arrange pickup. We can also combine goods from several suppliers into one shipment.

Customs & documents

Do you handle customs clearance?

Yes. We prepare and file export and import declarations, tell you which documents we need, and arrange payment of duties and taxes so your cargo is released without delay.

Which documents will I need?

Usually a commercial invoice and a packing list. Some goods or countries need more, for example certificates of origin, permits or vehicle titles. We’ll give you a checklist for your exact shipment.

Who pays duties and taxes?

That depends on what you agree with the buyer or receiver. We can quote with duties paid by the sender or by the receiver, and we’ll show estimated duties in advance where possible.

Why is my shipment held at customs?

Common reasons are missing or unclear documents, unpaid duties or a routine inspection. When this happens we post an update to your tracking page and contact you with exactly what’s needed.

Packing & restricted items

How should I pack my cargo?

Use strong boxes or crates, fill empty space so items can’t move, and seal with good tape. Label each piece with the sender and receiver details. For fragile, heavy or valuable items, ask us and we can arrange professional packing.

What can’t I ship?

Illegal goods, weapons and explosives, and most hazardous materials are not accepted. Items such as lithium batteries, perfumes, aerosols, medicines and food have special rules that vary by country and mode. Tell us what you’re shipping and we’ll confirm before you book.

Can you ship cars and other vehicles?

Yes, by container or roll-on/roll-off vessel where available. We’ll need the vehicle’s title or registration documents and will advise on import rules at the destination.

Quotes & bookings

What information do you need for a quote?

The pickup and delivery locations, a description of the cargo, its approximate weight and size, the number of pieces and when it will be ready. Photos or a packing list help us price it accurately.

How quickly will I get a quote?

We aim to reply within one business day. For urgent shipments, message us on WhatsApp after sending the form.

Can I change the delivery address after booking?

Often yes, especially before the shipment reaches the destination country. Contact us as early as possible with your tracking number; changes may affect the price or delivery date.

What if my cargo is damaged or lost?

Contact us straight away with your tracking number and photos of the packaging and goods. Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved. Ask us about cargo insurance when you book for full protection.
